I use my crockpot at least 2 days a week and most of the time 3 days a week. I know what works and what does not work in a crockpot. Most crockpot cookbooks just shift around a couple of ingredients and provide the same recipes in different ways. These dull books never think outside the box and many of the recipes get boring without a new twist. The Stay At Home Chef has unique recipes. Ham and Swiss quiche? WOW! Totally new and creative. This book has just enough photos and there is no need for more pictures in this book. I am more into the content anyway because that means more good recipes fit into the book. I have followed the Stay At Home Chef on facebook for a number of years and she knows her stuff! This book provides wonderful information, including Slow Cooker Fundamentals, Dos and Don'ts and Trouble shooting. This is so important because not all crockpots are the same and there are many people who are new to slow cooker meals. There are LOTS of recipes in this book- 120 and I plan on trying out most of them. I sincerely thank Rachel for doing this book. She cares about her fans and it definitely shows in this book!
